ScotiaPort provides and an opportunity for Indigenous People to reviews and agree to the development of the lands before it proceeds through meaningful and Indigenous led consultation.
It will provide Indigenous people equitable access to jobs, training and education opportunities in the corporate sector and provide long term sustainable benefits to the Mi’kmaq community from the project.
